For all the Kerry/Edwards supporters who rail and rant about Halliburton, here's an interesting tidbit of economic news. If Kerry is elected, the man he wants to replace Alan Greenspan is none other than Robert Rubin! Yes, Mr. Citicorp, the guy who somehow managed to sell out all of the Enron holdings right before the collapse, the guy who engineered the secret "trade" deal with China during the Clinton years, and the man who today cheerfully allows the Fed to manipulate the commodity and equities markets through Citi subsidiaries.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

The only politician that I mostly agree with is Ron Paul, Rep from Texas (which is a weird thing to say as I'm somewhat liberal and live in Seattle). However, Paul voted against the Patriot Act, understands what freedom really is about, wants to return government to the Constitutional constraints it is meant to live within and is basically the only voice of sanity in the asylum.

Be afraid of either Kerry or Bush, the Bonesmen are here and their agenda's will only differ on the periphery. Issues of stem-cell research and abortion, gay marriage and how much to spend on Homeland Security, etc.

Neither of them is about to admit the desperate economic situation or propose true fixes to the massive problems facing either the US or the world. Big business will continue to run Capital Hill, big government will continue to grow, war will be a precious economic driver and keeping the wool over the sheeple's eye's will be one of the biggest parts of their job.
